Japanese Paper and Wagasa

Washi is one of the indispensable materials for making Wagasa.
We have hundreds of kinds of washi on hand at our studio.
Even plain washi, such as light red for cherry blossoms and light yellow for fresh greens and young grasses, naturally remind us of the seasons.
The wagasa is a sublimation of traditional techniques and sensibilities.
